New Tool of Amazon’s Helps You Upgrade Your PC
Upgrading your PC is not as difficult as
you might think. The hard part is choosing the right part. Compatibility
conflicts are a very common problem. Amazon wants to help it launch the latest
features.
The new "Part Finder" is roughly
similar to third-party tools such as PC Part Picker, and has the advantage of
being directly integrated with Amazon's unlimited product list. But unlike more
comprehensive tools, Amazon currently only supports upgrades, not full system
builds. You need to click "Ensure Fit" in the project description and
enter the model or serial number of your existing laptop
or desktop to check if the part is compatible. Once you have selected the make
and model, the bar above the list will show the results.
Anyway, this is the theory. The system is
currently not screen on all PC hardware
components, even the main brand parts are somewhat uncertain. For example,
after entering my ThinkPad T450 for the Samsung 850 SSD on Part Finder, the
tool says "We are not sure if this project is right for your
computer." This is strange because it is a very standard 2.5-inch form
factor. Full size laptop.
To treat Amazon fairly, this is a new
feature, and there will be some problems. Not so fair, car enthusiasts have
noticed similar problems with Amazon's auto parts tools, which work along the
same general line. You should now review the broader online tools to make sure
your new parts work, especially if you build your computer from formation.
