The combination of tablet and keyboard become a notebook killer?
A new
trend is slowly moving into everyday computing - the tablet works with the
keyboard case. They are much lighter than laptops. In some cases, its keyboard
portion can be removed from the tablet and can be used for casual browsing. This
setting is for those who like to take gadgets for casual browsing or work. The
key is light weight.
For
those who like Apple products, you can choose from a variety of keyboards or
keyboard boxes to facilitate typing. Take the Apple keyboard case itself or the
products of companies such as Logitech, Belkin, Zagg, Incipio, etc. as an
example. Armed with an Apple pencil, it provides a very comfortable web surfing
experience.
Now,
people will ask if the iPad and keyboard can
really replace a mature laptop. It can be to a
large extent. The latest iPad devices are equipped with a good processor (A12X
Bionic chip) that can handle quite a bit of data processing. In addition, the
iPad Pro provides approximately 1 TB of storage.
The
recently launched Google Pixel Slate comes with a good processor and even an
Intel i7. The i7 is a complete processor for gaming desktops. Therefore, there
is never any doubt about the processing power. It has been launched in the US,
Canada and the UK.
Slate
can mate with Google Keyboard and even have a trackpad. Therefore, this
combination can be as good as a suitable laptop.
It may
be difficult to think of Microsoft Surface Pro (or Surface Go) as a complete
tablet plus keyboard box arrangement, just like the other two examples. However,
the light weight of these devices and the presence of the trackpad make them
another viable option.
Now,
questions about connectivity will naturally arise. While Bluetooth and Wi-Fi
are standard ways of connecting between devices or the Internet, hardware
connections can be a bit compromised.
The iPad
is only equipped with a USB Type-C connector. This sounds like some limitations
in physical connectivity, but if you need a light (two models 468 and 633
grams) option, it's not the end of the world. According to the specifications,
this will provide you with everything from INR 50,000 to over INR 100,000.
The
Pixel Slate has two Type-C connectors, two of which are definitely better than
one. The weight is 731 grams, not too bad. Again, this will cost £549 (about
50,000 rupees) and £1,549 (about 14 thousand rupees). It is not currently
listed on the Indian website.
The
Surface machine is superior in physical connectivity, with full-size USB 3.0
ports, microSDXC readers, 3.5mm stereo jacks and Mini DisplayPort which can
cost around Rs 50,000 to Rs 2,200,000. These choices are especially useful for
a photographer who already has a lot of heavy equipment and can do a good job
without the extra weight of a laptop. Or if an older laptop is heavy and
carrying it is difficult, consider the above or similar options.
Although
the combination of keyboard and tablet, its
light and comprehensive features can replace the functions of most notebooks,
but I think that in the short term they still have no way to kill the notebook,
the existence of the notebook has its unique meaning and function, in some
specific In the work environment, we need the help of a laptop.
