How to fix Windows 10 Blue Screen Crash
There
have been very few things happening in our life, but we have compiled this
short guide to help you get up and running if you see Blue Screen of Death
(BSOD).
When you
experience the blue screen, it's helpful to write down what you are doing and
the programs that are running. If you can recreate the process and eventually
cause a crash, one of the software you use is likely to cause the problem.
For
example, if you notice that you connect to the printer and try to print from
Word, you will get blue screen, but if you print to PDF, then it is reasonable
to assume that the printer is involved.
Note the blue screen code
When
using a blue screen, an error code is sometimes displayed at the bottom of the
message. Write it down, then search for it on Google and see what the code
stands for.
Knowing
what you are looking for will make things clearer when diagnosing problems.
Update driver
We have
seen cases of awkward graphics card drivers causing serious damage on PCs in
the past. If you recently upgraded yourself and experienced a crash, it might
be worth returning to the previous version.
Or, go
to the forum on the manufacturer's website to see if the update has a known
issue.
To
uninstall a program or driver, you need to click the search area in the taskbar
and type the option to view the installed updates and choose to display the
name.
You will
now be taken to the Control Panel where you can check the date of the driver
and uninstall drivers that may cause the computer to freeze blue screen. It is
common to have a graphics card driver or a power driver that needs to be
focused.
Update Windows
Another
thing to check is whether Windows is up to date.
To do
this, click the Start button, then click the Settings icon, then click Update
& Security. When the Updates panel appears, click Check for Updates.
Check your hardware
If you
are using a laptop, it is necessary to
turn on the machine and make sure the hardware is installed correctly.
If the
contact is bad, it may cause a crash, such as if you have recently updated the
screen, screen cable, etc., or the screen is not properly installed.
Of
course, if you have recently upgraded your graphics card or RAM, this will be a
matter of investigation, as new hardware can cause problems. You can remove the
hardware test on the most recent installation to see if there is a blue screen
issue.
