Samsung brings you a quality flagship notebook

Samsung’s last entry into the flagship notebook 9 series has been plagued by similar problems: they seem to feel very. The computer is great, with top-of-the-line specifications and performance, but recent models like last year's laptops feel like a $400 Chromebook instead of a $1400 professional.

Notebook 9 Pro looks better than previous generations. The slanted curves, blistering corners and painted plastic appearance have disappeared, favoring tighter corner radii, sharper edges and aluminum, unlike Samsung's Metal 12 magnesium alloy, which looks like aluminum.

The Notebook 9 Pro doesn't have a completely unique style - a thinner frame and an aluminum case, it's a reference design for the 2019 laptop. The most unique part of the exterior is the diamond cut along the edge of the case, which helps the laptop 9 Pro cleverly stand out from the package.

There aren't many claims about the specifications, which is consistent with most people's expectations for this model of laptop: quad-core 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565U processor, 256GB PCIe NVMe SSD memory, a pair of Thunderbolt on one side of the chassis 3 USB-C port, on the other side there is a normal USB-C port, a headphone jack and a microSD card slot. The Windows Hello fingerprint reader is also built into the power button on the side of the chassis.

Like many Samsung laptops, the Notebook 9 Pro also features a 2-in-1 design with a touch screen that can be flipped into a tablet or any other configuration in between. Although Samsung does not offer a built-in S-Pen in the slot, it includes an "active pen" for writing or drawing.

Another feature that is less of a concern is the 13.3-inch 1080p display, which is a bit low resolution for the 2019 computer. Samsung also only provides 8GB of memory, which is a bit disappointing. If it can choose to upgrade to 16GB will also be welcome.

Even though all the components of the notebook 9 have not been fully announced, it is encouraging that Samsung and other laptop brands are starting to take design seriously. Looking forward to the future Samsung will lead the notebook with more and more innovative design and better service.
