Samsung folding screen notebook

2019 must be the prevailing year of 5G+ folding screens. At the WMC meeting in the past few days, various technology companies have demonstrated their latest folding screen devices. Most of them were first applied on mobile phones, and Huawei mate X made a big splash at its press conference. Samsung also had the news of folding screen laptop.

 Maybe one day our laptops may be replaced by mobile phones, from Dell to Lenovo and even Microsoft - looking for a foldable laptop with a flexible screen, but the Samsung Galaxy Fold is the first foldable notebook we saw.

Of course, every laptop is inherently foldable, but can we quickly see a laptop with a single flexible screen that can be used both as a traditional display and as a keyboard?

Although we have seen many patented drawings showing fuzzy sketches of foldable devices, Samsung's Galaxy Fold shows us a foldable device that can be designed with a stylish look.

The Galaxy Fold features a 4.6-inch HD + Super AMOLED (21:9) display that folds into a 7.3-inch QXGA + (QHD +) dynamic AMOLED (4.2:3) Infinity Flex display.

Samsung also has a battery that provides a total of 4,380 mAh of power on the two halves of the device, again demonstrating how notebook manufacturers can split the battery in a collapsible laptop.

Many laptops can use two batteries - for example, the Microsoft Surface Book 2 has a battery behind the keyboard and screen for the battery used in keyboard separation and tablet mode.

Price:

The final tip for a possible foldable laptop that we can get from Galaxy Fold is the price. When Samsung made high-end products, it usually had very favorable prices, and Galaxy Fold was no exception, at $1,980.

So, although we know that foldable screen laptops will eventually appear, Samsung's Galaxy Fold gives us more expectations for foldable laptops.
